As their name would imply, The Twilight Sad have never been the cheeriest of bands, but It's The Long Goodbye is bleak even by their standards - understandably so, mind, given the tragic context of its creation. While it's not necessarily recommended for those in need of a pick-me-up, it's arguably their biggest and best record to date. The Scots' patron/champion/cheerleader Robert Smith (who contributes to three tracks) clearly knows his onions.
