It often takes me a while to warm to a new album and stop comparing it unfavourably to what has gone before, but from first listen it was abundantly clear that Ricochet blows Snail Mail's two previous LPs out of the water. The album finds Lindsey Jordan, at the ripe old age of 26, worrying that she might be wasting her life away, but on this evidence there's no chance of that.
