Nearly a week on and I'm still smarting from the derby defeat. But at least some good came from the day, in the form of this stunning series of pictures taken by photographer Phil Kneen, a detached observer in the eye of the storm.
His images hardly depict my fellow Newcastle fans in a positive light - though at least there are none of police horses being punched...
