Volunteering to review a GNOD album while suffering from partial deafness and excruciating earache probably wasn't the wisest move, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Easy To Build, Hard To Destroy might be a collection of early tracks but it's no random odds 'n' sods assortment; on the contrary, the songs appear to have been carefully selected and sequenced so as to take the listener on a real journey. One thing's for sure: minds will be fried en route.
