Bigmouths strike again

Good news for fans of cantankerous, rampantly egotistical, irrelevant old duffers who like nothing better than spouting off: Billy Corgan and Noel Gallagher are to team up for a joint Smashing Pumpkins/High Flying Birds tour, though only in the US. As Pitchfork's Jazz Monroe commented, "Billy Corgan is one of the few contemporary rock stars the Oasis loudmouth hasn't outwardly criticised". I give it a week at most before they're slagging each other off.
