Cuts and culls

Interesting that George Osborne and his government are so obsessed with curbing spending and continuing to implement austerity measures, isn't it? Would that be the same government that squandered more than £7m on the "disastrous" badger cull in just two counties, Somerset and Gloucestershire, at a cost of over £4,100 per badger?
