So there seems to be a rough correlation between political orientation and preferred alcoholic beverage in the US: "Democrats are more likely to consume lighter-coloured liquors, such as
vodka and gin, while Republicans prefer a tipple such as whiskey and
other darker-coloured alcohol, according to the Washington Post." One wonders whether research here in the UK would result in similar findings. I'd wager that most BNP supporters are Carling drinkers...
