Gagging for it

It's a good thing that Dave's prize for the funniest joke at the Edinburgh Fringe comes with prize money attached. Stand-ups aren't exactly noted for their sartorial style and kempt appearance but, judging by this picture, this year's winner Nick Helm is rocking the dosshouse chic look harder than most.

Fair play to him - it's a good joke (even if it was written by his dad...), and there are some other gems in there from the likes of Tim Vine, Tim Key, Mark Watson and Andrew Lawrence. All whetting my appetite for the evening of one-liners in the company of Milton Jones that we've got booked for December.
