Ah the joys of local websites, such as this one, which claims to be "The Online Guide for Ponteland and Surrounding Areas". Click on "Tourist information" and you'll get this page, declaring there's no Tourist Information office in Ponteland, mentioning attractions further afield and listing local petrol stations so you can make fast your escape...
