As far as I could recall, I first came across Lee Shulman as the director of I Am Martin Parr - having forgotten I'd written about the pair's collaborative exhibition at Magnum Paris Gallery three years earlier.
That show sprang out of Shulman's main endeavour, the Anonymous Project, and in this Blind article published at the time, he talks about the joy of (re)discovering other people's Kodachrome slides - time capsules offering portraits of families and friends that are at once intimate and laden with mystery.
