It was hardly a surprise, but when Armando Iannucci invited Stewart Lee to appear on Strong Message Here in the absence of his regular podcast partner Helen Lewis, the result was a thoroughly entertaining 35 minutes of back and forth.
The nominal phrase for discussion was, nominally, Robert Jenrick's "weird Turkish barber shops", and they did get onto it at some point - but along the way the pair also talked about reincarnation, how Lee isn't really a journalist ("If you put a pig in a stable, it's not a horse") and whether or not kestrels commute.
