The law is an asshole

To say something's seriously fucked up when one person can be acquitted for shooting and killing someone who is unarmed and yet another can be jailed for 20 years for firing a warning shot that caused no injury would seem to risk stating the obvious. But it's clearly not obvious enough to those behind Florida's legal and judicial system. And that's to say nothing of the issue of race.
