Crash test dummy
It's a safe bet that quite a few of you will, like me, have done dreary, boring summer jobs which left you desperate for some kind of amusement or excitement, and may even have found ways of deriving said amusement and excitement. It's a safer bet, though, that while working as a summer intern at the US National Transportation Safety Board, none of you will, for a laugh, have made up the names of the pilots of a Asiana Airlines plane that crashed in San Francisco with the loss of three lives, thereby hoaxing a local TV station later forced into a very red-faced apology. Apparently the intern "acted outside the scope of his authority". You don't say...
