Is this really how bad it's got? Estate agents - whose sole job and raison d'etre, lest we forget, is to sell houses - dropping leaflets through doors to proclaim they've sold a house?

If I was a homeowner my first thought on reading the leaflet wouldn't be "Oh, right, OK then, we must immediately put our house up for sale with that firm" - it would be exactly as it is now: "What, do you want a fucking biscuit?"
