The sky's the limit for Alan

Jackanackanory. Hot on the heels of the news that the will-they-won't-they Partridge film is finally definitely on, it's been announced that Alan's going to be on our screens a whole lot more soon. It's just a shame that Baby Cow have negotiated a tie-up with Sky Atlantic for the content (an adapted version of Mid Morning Matters plus a couple of one-off one-hour specials) - or is there a real-life Tony Hayers now presiding over the decisions at the BBC who has refused to grant Alan the series?
