On the festival front, it looks as though the climate is just as challenging this year as it was last, if not more so. Following on from similar news about Oxegen and the Big Chill, it's been announced that Sonisphere 2012 has been cancelled. Due to "circumstances", apparently, which presumably include the bizarre decision to invite Queen (well, Brian May and Roger Taylor) to headline with an American Idol winner singing...

Locally speaking, the Truck line-up is starting to take shape nicely - though I won't be there (on holiday) and in any case, in the absence of Glastonbury, Primavera in Porto is very definitely where it's at for me.
