Neither recent ill health nor the foulness of the elements were going to stop me from getting over to Newport for Cosmic Carnage's first gig at Le Pub on Friday, in conjunction with fellow promoters of all things noisy Lesson No. 1. Nottingham bruisers Bloody Head headlined, with Haul (pictured), Cruel Prank and Jake Healy also on the bill. Buzz review here.
