The music industry might be in a parlous state, but that's precisely why it's important to escape the doom and gloom whenever possible by seizing upon, amplifying and celebrating any positive news. So congratulations to Tangled Parrot, the Carmarthen-based record store that's just opened a new outlet in Swansea.
The venture is a collaboration with Alleyway Coffee, and as such follows in the footsteps of such fine establishments as Pop'N'Hops (Cardiff), Truck Store/Mostro Coffee (Oxford) and Pie & Vinyl (Southsea), for whom hybridity equals viability.
