That difficult fourth album
When I read that there's a new Efterklang album out, I wondered whether I should buy it - after all, their last release, Magic Chairs, was very good indeed even if I haven't been able to get into Parades, their second and largely regarded as their best. And then I read about the story behind the new record - inspired by and indeed conceived in Pyramiden, an abandoned mining town in the Arctic Circle - and knew I had to have it. Here's the Drowned In Sound article that whetted my appetite.
