Primal Scream: sham rock

Not content with claiming St Patrick's Day as their own, Guinness now seem to have created another festival in celebration of the black stuff. Yep, mark 27th and 28th September in your calendar - or don't, as the case may be. Unbelievably, they've registered "Arthur's Day" as a trademark and among those joining in are Primal Scream - proof as if it was needed that a band who once upon a time saw themselves as outsiders and rebels are now fully paid-up corporate cocksuckers. Perhaps they were desperate to score some drugs and heard mention of "good craic"...
