She's at it again. Not content with savaging her own party leader, Nadine Dorries has now set her sights on another fellow Tory, departing Cameronite Louise Mensch. Mensch has retaliated mockingly on Twitter, noting that she's been put on Dorries' "naughty step".

The crux of Dorries' complaint seems to be that Mensch is leaving politics to spend more time with her family, thereby effectively handing a Tory seat to Labour. What Dorries doesn't mention is that Mensch's husband Peter manages Metallica - I wonder whether in her political retirement she'll find more time to discuss the finer points of 'Master Of Puppets' with James Hetfield et al? 'Void Of Principle' would make a good song title for their new album...
