Feel good hits of the 20th May
1. 'Into The Wild' - Sparrow & The Workshop
2. 'Kissing Cousins' - The Saints
3. 'Let Me Back In' - Explosions In The Sky
4. 'The Glorious Land' - PJ Harvey
5. 'Stay Away' - Nirvana
6. 'Count Me Out' - Blood Red Shoes
7. 'Sadness Is A Blessing' - Lykke Li
8. 'This Time' - The Drones
9. 'When My Baby Comes' - Grinderman
10. 'Kids Will Be Skeletons' - Mogwai
Notes:
1. The undisputed highlight of another great - and shamefully poorly attended - Oxford gig by the trio.
2. "Well I got a girl, she's as cute as she can be / Well she's a distant cousin but she ain't too distant for me". Mmm, punk songs about borderline-incestuous relationships. I'm seriously in love with that first Saints album.
3. Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is business as usual - subtly dynamic and unshowily impressive.
4. What was with that bizarre garb she was sporting on Later...?! Please don't become one of those folkies, Peej...
5. It had been too long. I could never, ever tire of hearing Dave Grohl's spectacular drum breakdown.
7. The lyrics are a little crass and My First Emo Album, but the song's got an irresistable sass and style.

4: Are you lobbying for a return to pink catsuits? She seems to be rotating that white get-up with a very similar black outfit for this year's live sets. Let's hope the album sales cover the dry cleaning bills.
I'm just a bit worried she might start getting all tree-huggy and Earth Mother... The catsuits were definitely a winner, as was the 2004 Glastonbury Spice Girls dress...
