I'm a bit bemused by all this stuff about the Rapture having been delayed. If anything, surely they were ahead of their time, giving James Murphy all of his best ideas?
For a man who claimed to feel "terrible" at his mistaken prediction, Harold Camping wasn't exactly apologetic when questioned about the followers who'd renounced all their money and possessions: "We just had a great recession. There's lots of people who lost their jobs, lots of people who lost their houses... and somehow they all survived. We're not in the business of giving any financial advice". Unless it's "Give your money to us", that is. Strange how he still seems to be able to get by, isn't it?
