As previously noted on here, Chris Killip may not have been a native North-Easterner, but it's evident he took the region to his heart - both in terms of his role in establishing Side Gallery and the amount of work he produced in the area.
So it's fitting that, in direct collaboration with both the late photographer's son and the Chris Killip Trust, Mark Holborn has pulled together Chris Killip: North for Thames & Hudson, a handsome collection of images ranging across several projects - many of which are previously unpublished.
