Ridicule is not something Gong have shied away from, ever since their formation in the late 1960s, and - even without their founder, the late Daevid Allen - they're evidently not about to start doing so now. The band's new live double LP may not be blessed with a name like Camembert Electrique, but Pulsing Signals is a mind-bending jazz-prog trip that underlines their influence on former collaborators Acid Mothers Temple as well as the central role now played by Kavus Torabi (Cardiacs, The Utopia Strong). Buzz review here.
