Talking to Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten around the release of their collaborative single 'Like I Used To' last May, Loud And Quiet's Tristan Gatward wrapped up by asking the pair "Would you consider doing a joint tour?" "Yeah, I'm down" and "Let's do it" came the responses. And now, finally, it's a reality - with the added bonus of Julien Baker on the bill too.
For those of us in the UK, though, it's (currently, at least) a case of being careful what you wish for. Sadly, at present it seems that only North American audiences will get to enjoy the Wild Hearts tour - and even more upsettingly, the dates that have been announced so far look to preclude any possibility of it calling in on this summer's Green Man. Fingers crossed that the trio make it over to these shores in the autumn...
