The war on drugs doesn't appear to be going too well in Ireland, where ecstasy, ketamine and crystal meth were among the narcotics "accidentally legalised" this week. The legalisation was short-lived, though, with an emergency law thrashed out over midnight and brought in to close the loophole at midnight.
The whole debacle has been meat and drink to the press, of course, and the Times deserve credit for going with the headline "Irish MPs up all night after Ecstasy legalised"...
