"Terrorism" is a loaded term freighted with all sorts of connotations and baggage - so BBC Arabic's decision to deliberately avoid using it is, according to the Independent's Memphis Barker, a significant step in the right direction. He's got a point. One wonders whether the rest of the corporation will follow suit.
