I suppose UKIP are duty-bound to be dismissive of any attempt by the Tories to muscle in on their turf, but surely when even Nigel Farage is sticking up for the EU's interference in British law, you know that the proposed "Back off Brussels!" war on European human rights verdicts is on decidedly dodgy ground.
Don't just take Farage's word for it, though (indeed, it would naturally be wise not to) - deposed Attorney General Dominic Grieve, Labour, the Lib Dems, the Council of Europe and the Law Society have all taken aim at the proposal too.
