As something of a night owl (and therefore relatively late riser), this was of interest: a graphic illustration of famous authors' wake-up times and their literary productivity. There's no real correlation, though those who routinely rose at the civilised hour of 9am (Ray Bradbury, Virginia Woolf, Gore Vidal, C. S. Lewis, Leo Tolstoy) were particularly prolific. It's no surprise to learn that Charles Bukowski didn't usually crawl out of bed until midday...
