Lost Angeles

Following on from Andrei Pandele's pictures of Bucharest, here is another fascinating set of photos of a lost city - this time Los Angeles, or more specifically the Bunker Hill area, where grand nineteenth-century mansions were torn down or moved to make way for the development of the new high-rise downtown. As one of the captions implies, it's hard to see this as "progress".
