In their own words

Stephen Patrick Morrissey and Alan Partridge: both icons of British culture, but can you tell them apart on the basis of quotes lifted from their autobiographies? As an Alan aficionado (though admittedly one who hasn't yet finished I, Partridge), I was slightly embarrassed to only get 9 out of 13 - though nowhere near as embarrassed as Morrissey should be...

The web has been awash with bits and pieces related to Mozza's book, published just in time for the Christmas rush. The Line Of Best Fit reported that in his contract with Penguin he insisted the book appeared in their Classics series, while comedian Peter Serafinowicz has been singing excerpts from it in the style of its author. (I spotted him wandering among the throng at the Natural History Museum on Sunday - respite from the exertions of this latest project, I guess.) The autobiography seems to have been generally well received, though not everyone is a satisfied customer - take this reviewer on Amazon, for instance, who was hoping for a bit more about his work on Men Behaving Badly and Bob The Builder...
