Stephanie Bannister, a One Nation party candidate for the upcoming Australian federal election, proves she has a clear grasp of the issues. Needless to say, she's now decided it would be best to withdraw her candidacy, apologising "to One Nation, to my friend and family, for any embarrassment this has brought to them", though she couldn't resist implying it wasn't all her fault, muttering about "the way Channel Seven edited my interview". A budding political career begun and snuffed out, all in the space of 48 hours - oh the tragedy.
