Home comforts?

A while back, I wrote about Toy Stories, a collection of photos of children posing with their most treasured toys. In a very similar vein is Where Children Sleep, a project by James Mollison which (as the title suggests) pairs photos of children with photos of their bedrooms - or, in many cases, what passes for a bedroom. If anything, this collection is even more striking in its depiction of the staggering disparity between people around the globe - and serves to make the Western viewer thankful for the cosseted luxury in which we live our lives, rather than simply taking it for granted.
