There must be some mistake

Oh look, it's this year's exam howlers compilation, the Times Higher Education's equivalent of You've Been Framed. A bit harsh, perhaps, given that the authors are under duress at the time, but still worth a knowing and smugly superior chuckle.

I come across the odd such howler in manuscripts at work, often when the letter "l" has been accidentally omitted from the word "public"...
