It's a man's world

 What's it like to be a woman working on a lads' mag? Terri White has written about just that for the Guardian. As several commenters have pointed out, her attack of conscience and discomfort at the exploitative aspect of the whole enterprise is all fine and well now that she's used the experience to help climb the greasy pole...

Exactly. It Reminds me of all the staff at the NOTW who, when it closed, spoke about how great everyone was there - such wonderful, sensitive people, great journalists with good morals and so on.

The fact is Terri White knew exactly what she was doing at Nuts. I'd wager she didn't like much of what happened at Nuts at the time but chose to ignore her conscience for the sake of professional development. And while I understand this approach, I don't have any respect for it.
