First time I saw Battles I loved 'em. Second time, the 'treated' vocal thing grated a bit and I kind of lost interest and wasn't even considering their London show this November.
This sounds pretty good though, and I liked the look of the more slimline collective when I caught a few snippets on a late night Channel 4 programme that had 20 mins of highlights from Primavera.
Oh, and Nissenenmondai are supporting apparently. Maybe it's time to dip that toe back in!
Ah, but the 'treated vocal thing' is a thing of the past, now that Tyondai Whatshisname has quit. Yes, definitely worth checking out if Nissenenmondai are supporting - they're also on the bill (as well as Gary Numan) for Battles' day of ATP in December.

I flippin love the 'Mondai! If cash was unlimited I'd come to the second ATP just for them and Factory Floor!
