Literary lushes
Now here's an idea for a themed party. Come as a famous writer and spend all night quaffing his or her alcoholic beverage of choice. On balance, I think I'd go for Ernest Hemingway - mmm, mojitos. Woe betide anyone who decides dressing as Oscar Wilde and downing absinthe is a good idea...
The article also contains some great witticisms on booze and boozing, the best of which are contributed by Charles Bukowski, Dorothy Parker and (of course) Dylan Thomas: "An alcoholic is someone you don’t like who drinks as much as you do".
