Capital cuisine

Good to see Gwdihw and especially the Vegetarian Food Studio getting wider recognition as places you're guaranteed cheap, tasty food and friendly service in Cardiff. I'm a bit more surprised to note that Y Mochyn Du has made Tony Naylor's cut, having never met anyone who's had a decent bit of grub there... I'd just stick to the beer if I was you - mine's a pint of Grog Y Vog or Cwrw Haf, if you're buying.

I may have eaten in Y Mochyn Du after Wales v Australia at the 2007 World Cup.

However, as a result of my drinking I don't actually remember (a) if I did eat in the pub and (b) whether it was any good.

I did feel a bit fragile the next day, but suspect that had nothing to do with whatever food I ended up eating.
