Feel good hits of the 2nd April
1. 'Glass Printer' - The Besnard Lakes
2. 'Strawberries' - Asobi Seksu
3. 'I Think I'm In Love' - Spiritualized
4. 'Flight Of The Feathered Serpent' - Fuck Buttons
5. 'Two Weeks' - Grizzly Bear
6. 'Atrophy' - The Antlers
7. 'Destination Tokyo' - Nissenenmondai
8. 'Keep Me In The Dark' - The Fiery Furnaces
9. 'Gold Soundz' - Pavement
10. 'Sheila' - Atlas Sound
Notes:
1. It took me a while to realise that the reason 'Glass Printer' was the song from The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night that immediately gripped me was that it sounds almost EXACTLY like it could be on Low's The Great Destroyer. Review of their Brizzle show last Friday to come - as are a handful of other live reports.
2. and 9. Both formed part of a rather excellent Saturday night stag party soundtrack. I'd say "a rather cracking Saturday night stag party" but then that would be insensitive to the attendee whose humerus stapped during a bout of arm-wrestling with the stag...
3. Cheers Del!
5. I only saw the video for 'Two Weeks' for the first time when doing the research for the recent 2009 singles post. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth watching - and if you have it's well worth watching again.

Strawberries is a good song. Asobi Seksu is probably one of the most innovative bands in some time. Their music is very artistic
