Is it just me...

... or is it a little unnerving to attend fire marshal training and hear one of your colleagues enthusiastically regaling the group with tales of youthful hi-jinx making custard powder bombs, blowing up gas canisters and fashioning guns out of metal piping and fireworks? And then laughing uproariously at the "Don't try this at home" videos in a way that suggests he certainly is going to try it at home?
