Quote of the day
"Sometimes you think life can't get any better. You're riding high presenting and producing the coolest football show on telly, small children bow with deference as they pass you in the street, you've become mates with John Terry and Frank Lampard, and for once the world seems like a sweet place to be."
Thus begins this piece by former 'Soccer AM' presenter and eminently punchable twat Tim Lovejoy on the Guardian's Organ Grinder blog.
I've heard of being thrown to the wolves before, but throwing yourself to the wolves is a new one. As for the Guardian, someone deserves either a good shoeing for allowing Lovejoy the platform to advertise freely his new website Channel Bee (a joint venture with Simon Fuller of 19 Management, dontchaknow?) or a medal for flattering his ego into thinking it was a good idea and handing him more than enough rope to hang himself with.

When Saturday Comes' review of his book (book!) says it better than any of us could: http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/145/29/
I have to confess never watched it, the main reason being the "AM" in the title. But from what little I've encountered of the man, he appears to be a twat.
Cheers for that link Simon - nail, head etc...
