Idiots rule
Thought us Brits could still look down on Americans for voting George W. Bush in not once but twice? Think again. Seriously, have 49% of Londoners been lobotomised?

Sound and fury signifying nothing

I'm living in London, but I'm not guilty!
Oh, and Jack Penate recently endorsed Boris Johnson in a question and answer thing in one of the London papers recently. Yet another reason to hate him!
Can I come and live with you if he gets in? Please?
Betty: Another reason indeed. Bet I know where James Blunt and Jack Johnson stand on the mayoral issue too.
Del: It'll be like the wartime evacuation of London - evacuees being put up around the country by kind-hearted souls. On a tangential note, didn't Paul Daniels vow in 1996 that he'd leave the country if Tony Blairs got in in the general election? That was one reason to vote for Tone, at least...
As did Andrew Lloyd Webber, and they both stayed.
In other news, I think you'll find the American public only voted Dubya in once, if memory serves the Californian judiciary (or his brother the governor) voted him in the first time round.
