Quote of the day
"Two legs good, four legs bad".
Blur bassist Alex James' response to a question about whether he had any "quality control" on 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross'.
James came across as a bit of an idiot with a penchant for rock star playthings - planes, farms... It was particularly amusing to see him squirm when Ross forced him to admit that he's being given some chickens by near-neighbour Jeremy Clarkson - it's the farming equivalent of a cup of sugar, apparently.
Still, his autobiography 'Bit Of A Blur' might be worth a read, given that he's at least articulate and unflinchingly honest.
Blur fans can rejoice at James' hint that a reunion may be in the offing - personally, I couldn't really care less, and would prefer it if Graham Coxon carried on ploughing his own idiosyncratic furrow.

Heheh, yes, the Blur reunion is an interesting one, especially as both Graham and Damon's recent solo efforts have been far better than Blur's most recent album.
As a rabid Blur fan, I just want them to get back together and make one great album. Then call it quits. Just as closure.
I'm also very much looking forward to Alex's book. He's a very likeable chap. I'd certainly rather go for a pint with him than Ross.
He didn't strike me as particularly likeable, I have to say...
So, should Blur reform, what do you think the chances of them making that great last album are?
Bah, Think Tank is better than any of Graham's solo albums. The TGTB&TQ album was good, though.
He's everywhere right now. But it has worked - I'm seriously considering reading the book...
