Like many in Wales and indeed further afield, I've found myself seduced by the effervescence and exuberance of Melin Melyn's live performances - which only makes the decision to release the dull and disappointing stop-gap album Mill On The Hill: After Dark all the more mystifying. The featured artists detract from rather than add to the original album's songs, and if the idea is to give a platform to others, then the reality does no one any favours.
