When the government's ban on sending books to prisoners was ruled unlawful late last year, that should have been the end of the matter. And yet it seems that some prisons are still refusing to deliver to inmates books bought by family and friends, in direct contravention of the Incentives and Earned Privileges document. It's ironic, I suppose, that prisons seem to consider themselves above the law...
