Selective salvation

So the Huffington Post has publicised (approvingly, by implication) an advertising campaign created by the South African branch of the Salvation Army that uses last week's internet furore about The Dress to condemn domestic abuse. Very worthy and right-on - but perhaps the site might reflect on the fact that less than a year and a half ago, they themselves were reporting on the charity's decidedly dubious attitude towards LGBT people. Only certain types of discrimination and abuse are to be openly and aggressively challenged, it seems.
