The latest in a long line of idiotic pronouncements from UKIP: the existence of climate change is "open to question" and a UKIP government (God help us all) would immediately repeal the Climate Change Act. The party's energy spokesman Roger Helmer also managed to claim, apparently without a shred of irony, that the Tories "have been sufficiently green to do huge damage". At least he had the decency to undercut it all by admitting "I’m not a scientist, I’m speculating"...
