Blaming and shaming

No sooner had I posted about Tony Blair and the invasion of Iraq than he comes out with the frankly staggering assertion that the invasion was not responsible for causing the current instability in the country - a claim that our ambassador to the US at the time has rejected and an independent security analyst has described as "bizarre". As uncomfortable as I feel in agreeing with Boris Johnson, this is further proof that he lives on another planet, and has done for some time.
