Anyone who thinks elements of This Is Spinal Tap are preposterous should read this article cataloguing the strikingly similar misadventures of very real bands. I don't know about you, but my morning certainly seemed just that bit brighter upon discovering that Bono got trapped inside a giant fake lemon during U2's 1997 world tour. No mention of anyone dying in a bizarre gardening accident, though.
